CITROËN TYPE 23 SCALE DOOR (1936)

Ref. 148. Scale 1/10th. Zamac and sheet metal. Uniformly finished in red, this "U 23", as they were called at the time, could easily pass for a fire truck, with its double ladder. The ladder swivels and has 2 cranks, one to raise it vertically, the other to deploy the 2nd ladder. They're still intact, with their strings, so you can play with them! Cab with 2 opening doors (handles intact), bench seat and steering wheel. Front grille and headlights (bulbs replaced) in nickel-plated sheet metal, in good condition, as are the decals on either side of the hood. The engine works, but the key is missing. 4 rubber tires engraved "Citroën 70 x 16". Very nice original condition. Small, inconspicuous accident on the hinge at the top of the right-hand door. Traces left by
the ladder on the cab roof. Rubber rear spring leaves more or less "baked". Length: 44 cm from front bumper to end of ladder.
