Empire period Circular box in tortoise shell and yellow gold, the lid features a painted miniature of a man in a red jacket. It is encircled by a band of gold fillet. The interior is in gold. Marked with a rooster's leg raised, head turned to the right in a six-sided dial, number 3 for gold 3rd title 750 thousandths, Paris 1809-1919.
