Supplique à Mr de VAUVRE Conseiller du Roi, Intendant général de la MARINE et de Justice police et finances en Mers de Levant. "Having a large quantity of wood marked at the mouth of the VAR river, and having already paid the duties at the ST LAURENS office, the furious and violent overflow of the river which occurred on October 5 last swept away the said wood entirely, and it scattered to several places on the Coast, even to the Iles d'Hyères...". - He asks the Commanders of the Forts and Fortresses to release his woods without any obstacles. 1p oblong folio - undated, mid-18th c.
