Late 18th-century manuscript, 3 pages in-4°: "Before the end of the 18th century, the looting of the noblest, most famous city will plunge the universal Church and the whole world into mourning. The Crown and the Church of France will be painfully and lamentably pursued throughout the world. The Church will be stripped of all her temporal possessions... Then all the Churches will be profaned and defiled, holy women will abandon their monasteries and flee to one side or the other... men will commit violence against the universal Church; She will have no defender for 25 months and more, because during this term, there will be neither Pope, nor Emperor, in Rome, nor ruler of France..."
