Imperial Forest School hunting dagger, Second Empire. Pommel decorated with a bee, interlacing and string of pearls. Hilt with central field in the form of a stylized shield. Marked "FORETS", flanked by two symmetrical quillons with eagle heads. Straight blade marked "ECOLE IMPERIALE FORESTIERE". Leather scabbard with two silver-plated metal fittings.
