MINIATURE THE ENTRY INTO JERUSALEM Miniature on paper from a Gospel book. Glued to a metal plate. 11 x 7.5 cm. Constantinople school, 17th century. Framed under glass. Provenance : - former Jean Pozzi collection (1884-1967), Paris. - Succession Jean Pozzi sale, Hôtel Drouot, Maîtres Rheims et Laurin, December 2, 1970, lot 185 bis. We note similarities with Matteos Chapartsi's Entry into Jerusalem (Մատթէոս Չափարցի) of 1655, preserved in the Matenadaran (ms. 2577), as well as with Grigor Erets from Van (ms. 9037, ms. 5726 Maténadaran).
