ILLUMINATED REVOLVING DISPLAY 1968
Ref. 91711. The latest display offered by Bobigny to its retailers, illustrated in the 1968 sales manual for professionals. The same model, with a few language variations, was offered by Liverpool under ref. 91710. Made of plastic on a 360° rotating platform, illuminated by a light bulb concealed inside, it no longer has the charm of the displays of the late '50s, but is much rarer... and more fragile! It holds 48 models in its thermoformed cavities. The whole unit is topped by a clamp-shaped metal support designed to hold a 36 x 23 cm rectangular advertising cardboard. This is packed with self-promotions, the most prominent of which reads: "DINKY TOYS, the largest and most varied collection". Small halo of moisture on upper left. Dimensions: height 59 and 77 cm (with top support); circumference 151 cm; diameter 48 cm. With power cable and plug. Works. Ageing of the circular band of adhesive paper, very few missing parts, some minor repairs. C+/°
